چکیده

Artificial intelligence and robotics technologies do not manufacture robots only for industrial use, but also healthcare, marketing, tourism accommodation industries where social interaction is prevalent. Service are that interact directly with individuals to fulfill the physical, cognitive, emotional needs of individuals. Recently, it was observed number studies on employment in education has increased. These reported positive findings educational settings; however, they indicated certain problems. One these problems ontological boundary problem due anthropomorphic design robots. Certain human-social robot demonstrated human-machine distinction blurred, humans started attribute anthropogenic traits such as intention, emotion purpose, while categorized live or hybrid. Anthropomorphizing ambiguity their category could lead excessive attachment, isolation, violation privacy, perceptions about existence be altered. The present article aimed provide information conducted education, analyze advantages disadvantages based anthropomorphism problem. Finally, recommendations presented education.

Anthropomorphism and the social robot

This paper discusses the issues pertinent to the development of a meaningful social interaction between robots and people through employing degrees of anthropomorphism in a robot’s physical design and behaviour. As robots enter our social space, we will inherently project/impose our interpretation on their actions similar to the techniques we employ in rationalising for example, a pet’s behavio...

Anthropomorphism: Opportunities and Challenges in Human-Robot Interaction

Anthropomorphism is a phenomenon that describes the human tendency to see human-like shapes in the environment. It has considerable consequences for people’s choices and beliefs. With the increased presence of robots, it is important to investigate the optimal design for this technology. In this paper we discuss the potential benefits and challenges of building anthropomorphic robots, from both...

Anthropomorphism in Human–Robot Co-evolution

Social robotics entertains a particular relationship with anthropomorphism, which it neither sees as a cognitive error, nor as a sign of immaturity. Rather it considers that this common human tendency, which is hypothesized to have evolved because it favored cooperation among early humans, can be used today to facilitate social interactions between humans and a new type of cooperative and inter...

Anthropomorphism and Human Likeness in the Design of Robots and Human-Robot Interaction

In this literature review we explain anthropomorphism and its role in the design of socially interactive robots and human-robot interaction. We illustrate the social phenomenon of anthropomorphism which describes people’s tendency to attribute lifelike qualities to objects and other non lifelike artifacts. We present theoretical backgrounds from social sciences, and integrate related work from ...

Associative Memories and Human-Robot Social Interaction

In this position paper, we discuss how the use of a cognitive architecture based on unsupervised clustering (the Kohonen Self-Organizing Map) enables us to meet our goals of efficient action selection in a mobile robot. This architecture provides several opportunities for human-robot interaction, and we discuss how its features facilitate these interactions. 1. Why use cognitive architectures? ...
